PRIVACY AND SECURITY POLICY
DEFINITIONS
"Applicable Law" means all applicable laws, rules, regulations, published standards, permits, judgments, writs, injunctions, ruling, published administrative guidance or other regulatory bulletins or published guidance, regulatory examinations or orders, decrees and orders of any governmental authority.
"Cardholder" means a Person (a) that has an Account; and (b) whose name appears on the Eligible Card.
“Company” means Keyno, Inc.
“CVVkey Mobile Application” means the mobile application a Cardholder downloads on to an Eligible Device in order to use the Service whether through an Institution’s application or otherwise.
“Dynamic CVV2 Security Code” means a changing security code that is used in place of the 3 digit security code printed on an Eligible Card.
"Eligible Card" means any physical, digital or virtual card or other payment device accessing an Account issued or made available to the Cardholder by an Institution.
"Enabled Device" means a mobile communication device receiving the CVVkey codes via Text message, Email, Calendar, or the CVVkey Mobile application.
"Eligible Device" means a mobile communications device, such as a cell phone, that you own or control and that is capable of becoming an Enabled Device by receipt of text messages, emails, or the CVVkey Mobile application software.
“Institution” means a CVVkey participating card issuing institution in the United States of America.
"Person" means any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, firm, joint venture, association, trust, unincorporated association, governmental authority, or other entity.
"Processing,” means our interactions with the CVVkey Mobile Application, Texting, Emailing, and using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information.
"Provisioned Account" means an Account associated with a Provisioned Card.
"Provisioned Card" means an Eligible Card that is associated with an Enabled Device so that the Eligible Card may use the Service when making a payment to the Provisioned Account of the Cardholder of the Eligible Card.
“Registration Information” means information that Company may require you to submit in order to register and use the CVVkey Mobile Application, including but not limited to your name, email address, phone number, user name, password, debit card, credit card, prepaid card payment card primary account number (PAN), card expiration date, billing postal code, and CVV2 security code printed on your Eligible Card.
“Service” means the CVVkeyTM service provided to you by Keyno, Inc. which enables a Dynamic CVV2 Security Code that rotates multiple times a day to be used in place of the 3 digit security code printed on your credit, debit, or prepaid card.
In this Privacy and Security Policy, the “user”, "you" and "your" refer to the Cardholder of an Eligible Card issued by an Institution, and "we," "us," "our" and "Company" refer to Keyno, Inc., the provider of the Service.
What information does the CVVkey Mobile Application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
The CVVkey Mobile Application obtains the information you provide when you download and register the CVVkey Mobile Application. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use most of the features offered by the CVVkey Mobile Application unless you register with us.
When you register with us, you will be required to provide us the Registration Information. When you use the CVVkey Mobile Application, you will provide us information that you enter when using the CVVkey Mobile Application.
We may also use the information you provided us to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, notifications, current dCVV2 codes, one time passcodes, required notices, and marketing promotions.
Automatically Collected Information
In addition, the CVVkey Mobile Application may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile devices unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and information about the way you use the CVVkey Mobile Application.
Does the CVVkey Mobile Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
When you use the CVVkey Mobile Application, we may use GPS technology (or other similar technology) to determine your current location in order to determine the city you are located within for security and other purposes. We do not share your current location with other users, affiliates, or 3rd parties.
If you do not want us to use your location for the purposes set forth above, and if enabled on your device, you may turn off the location services for the CVVkey Mobile Application in your mobile phone settings and/or within the mobile application.
Do third parties see or have access to information obtained by the CVVkey Mobile Application?
We, along with our affiliates, use and share information in a limited and controlled manner. We may disclose User Provided Information and Automatically Collected Information:
- to your Institution and payment network;
- to our 3rd party services providers who work on our behalf;
- as required by Applicable Law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; and
- in aggregate, such as for a fraud rate or usage study.
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided Information for as long as you use the CVVkey Mobile Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We will retain Automatically Collected information while the CVVkey Mobile Application is installed and thereafter may store this information for a period of time in raw form and aggregate.
Security
The security of your account information is important to us. Only those persons who need your information to perform their job have access to it. In addition, we maintain physical, electronic and procedural security measures that comply with U.S. regulations and PCI DSS guidelines to protect your information. Our employees have limited access to your personal information based upon their responsibilities. All employees are instructed to protect the confidentiality of your personal information as described in these policies, which are strictly enforced.
Changes
We may update the privacy and security policies set forth above from time to time for any reason.
Your Consent
By using the CVVkey Mobile Application, you are consenting to our Processing of your information as set forth in the above privacy and security policies as same may be amended by us.

OPT OUT RIGHTS
You can stop all future collection of information by the Service, turn off notifications, and uninstall the CVVkey Mobile Application at any time. You may remove one or more of your Provisioned Cards from the Service at any time. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network to uninstall the CVVkey Mobile Application.
